Picture books & coloring books

Stories that started at a bedside.

More than thirty years ago, Cassandra Michelle Harris told her daughter a story about a Dreamkeeper who watched over sleeping children. Now it's a picture book, with a coloring book to match — and it has company: a giggle-out-loud picture book and a series of coloring books for grown-ups.

About Cassandra Michelle Harris

“The potion was never really the potion. It was the love behind it.”

Cassandra Michelle Harris (C.M. Harris) writes picture books for bedtime and giggles, and coloring books for kids and grown-ups. She first told the story of the Dreamkeeper to her daughter more than thirty years ago, to help her feel safe after bad dreams, and the family now shares it with her granddaughter. The book's title character is named for her grandmother, Verna, “who always had a way of making everything seem better.” She lives in Polk County, Florida.

C.M. Harris Publishing is the home for her books, with more stories on the way.
